Responsibilities
- Delicate patient assessments and care planning for cardiac patients
- Administer specialized medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor telemetry systems and respond to critical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain precise electronic health records documentation
- Educate patients on cardiac health management
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring proficiency
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Spanish bilingualism highly valued
