Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift operations and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed
- Manage team performance and provide real-time coaching to warehouse staff
- Coordinate inventory management and logistics activities during overnight hours
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Implement process improvements to optimize shift efficiency
- Act as primary point of contact for overnight client communications
- Prepare shift handover reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability for overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus
