Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans across multidisciplinary teams
- Manage electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Schedule appointments and maintain efficient patient flow
- Act as primary liaison between patients, families, and medical staff
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Train new staff on department protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare coordination experience
- Valid Florida nursing assistant or medical assistant certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
