Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops in compliance with USDA standards.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect crops for quality, maturity, and pest issues; report findings to supervisors.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper packaging and handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and GMP guidelines.
- Assist in irrigation and general farm maintenance as directed.
Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (H2A Visa sponsorship provided for qualified applicants).
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by harvest schedules.
- Basic English communication skills are preferred for safety and coordination.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
