Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, berries) following quality standards
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely and efficiently
- Maintain field cleanliness and crop health through irrigation and pest control
- Package and prepare produce for shipment according to specifications
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months prior agriculture/harvesting experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic English communication skills (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Valid driver's license (farm equipment operation)
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts, including weekends
- Reliable transportation to worksite in Santa Ana
