Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments for performance and security
- Lead migration projects from on-premise to AWS cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Document architecture and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
