Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans between healthcare providers and facilities
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Act as primary liaison between patients, families, and medical teams
- Track and report key healthcare metrics to department heads
- Facilitate patient education programs on chronic disease management
- Collaborate with insurance providers for coverage verification
- Train new staff on healthcare protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 2+ years of healthcare coordination experience
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean record
- Background check and drug screen required
