Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM tools to detect potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and encryption.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Document security policies, incident reports, and audit findings for management review.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve overall system security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
