Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Python and Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct A/B tests to validate feature performance
- Ensure system reliability through automated testing and monitoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, and PostgreSQL
- AWS certification or equivalent cloud platform experience
- Track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture
