Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, grains, fruits)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures as directed
- Sort, grade, and pack produce according to quality standards
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Participate in irrigation system maintenance
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (foreign national)
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience required
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation to worksite
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts including weekends
