Responsibilities
- Architect and lead scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for high-traffic fintech platforms
- Mentor 5+ engineers while driving technical excellence through code reviews and best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues
- Drive cloud cost optimization strategies across AWS/GCP environments
- Represent engineering in stakeholder presentations and technical strategy sessions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects in regulated fintech environments
- Strong proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to balance technical debt and innovation
