Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage technical support tickets during the weekend shift to ensure 99.9% uptime and customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine system maintenance, security patches, and infrastructure updates on critical servers.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents escalated from the standard support team.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to document operational issues and suggest improvements.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on software releases deployed over the weekend.
- Maintain accurate logs and provide after-hours status reports to management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for critical client escalations during off-hours.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or IT operations.
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend hours.
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
