Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and prioritize a high-volume helpdesk ticket queue to ensure rapid response times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Conduct routine system checks and maintenance to prevent downtime during critical operational hours.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and procedures.
- Mentor junior support staff and provide on-the-job training during shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a rotating schedule.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
