Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Technical Audits: Perform in-depth analysis of website architecture, crawlability, indexing, and core web vitals to identify and resolve SEO blockers.
- On-Page Optimization: Lead the optimization of meta tags, headers, content hierarchy, and internal linking structures to maximize organic visibility.
- Schema Markup & Structured Data: Implement and audit JSON-LD, Schema.org markup to enhance SERP features and rich snippets.
- Link Building Strategy: Develop and execute white-hat link acquisition strategies to build domain authority and referral traffic.
- Performance Reporting: Generate detailed monthly reports analyzing keyword rankings, organic traffic growth, and ROI for key stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with web developers and content creators to ensure technical requirements are met and content strategies are SEO-friendly.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and algorithm updates to adjust strategies proactively.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Technical SEO and Search Engine Optimization.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side rendering (SSR) concepts.
- Tools: Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GTmetrix.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Google Analytics or Google Ads certifications are a significant plus.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and comfortable working remotely from Washington.
