Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs related to Olympic infrastructure, including venue connectivity and data management systems.
- Define program roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with executive leadership and technical architects.
- Manage cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration of legacy technologies with modern web and mobile platforms.
- Identify and mitigate risks across technical projects, ensuring strict adherence to security compliance and data privacy regulations.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing clear updates on program status, blockers, and deliverables to diverse audiences.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and system performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering leadership within the technology or event management sectors.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-year technical programs with budgets exceeding $5M.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and large-scale data handling.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PgMP, or Prince2) is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments under pressure.
