Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead technical initiatives for enterprise-level SaaS products serving 500K+ users
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, DevOps) to deliver seamless user experiences
- Implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Contribute to open-source projects and participate in tech community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React/AWS)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes
- Proven track record of building high-availability distributed systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system architecture design experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to lead technical discussions
- Must be open to relocation to Philadelphia with relocation assistance provided
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
