Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead AWS cloud architecture migrations and DevOps automation
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive sprint deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to relocate to Lincoln, NE with start date flexibility
