As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust software solutions that impact millions of users. You will work in a collaborative environment with some of the brightest minds in the industry, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Lead architectural decisions and code reviews to ensure best practices, performance, and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and deliverables.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement efficient solutions for scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to technical documentation and ensure clear communication of system architecture and logic.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience in a relevant technology stack (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, React).
- Demonstrated experience in designing distributed systems and high-availability applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to relocate to Philadelphia, PA, and work on-site.
