Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and languages.
- Lead architectural decisions and drive technical best practices across the engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on full-stack or backend development.
- Proficiency in at least two major programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C++).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to obtain and maintain US work authorization; Visa sponsorship is available.
- Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX upon successful offer acceptance.
