Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Architect cloud solutions with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies with 2-week sprint cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with Java and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture and containerization
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
- Must be eligible for US work authorization (visa sponsorship available)
