Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical roadmaps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for automated deployments
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Lead architectural decisions and conduct technical feasibility studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
