Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using Go and Python
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native Kubernetes environments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance using Redis, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with Go and Python
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Strong background in distributed systems and API design
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Contributions to GitHub with 500+ stars preferred
