Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and tech reviews
- Optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Lead migration of legacy monoliths to microservices architecture
- Drive CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Contribute to open-source projects with 10K+ GitHub stars
- Collaborate with Product teams to define technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices patterns
- Proven track record with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong background in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Published papers or patents in distributed computing preferred
