Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust, scalable backend services using Python and Go.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to handle high traffic loads.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define technical requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Ensure system security, reliability, and uptime (99.99% SLA).
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with microservices architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
