Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions using modern engineering practices.
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and improve user experience.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of growth within the team.
- Testing & QA: Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and stability.
- Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, or TypeScript.
- Backend: Strong experience with Node.js or similar runtime environments.
- Database: Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and ORM tools like Sequelize or TypeORM.
- Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska.
