Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications using modern languages (Python, Java, or C#).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Debug complex production issues and implement robust, long-term solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate best practices into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Kansas City, MO and participate in the company’s relocation program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
