Role Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support our core business functions around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software code for the night shift operations team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and security standards.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in a production environment with minimal supervision.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability during peak hours.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
