Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Optimize high-transaction financial systems for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Docker
- Drive architectural decisions for cloud-native applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java, Spring, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- Proven track record with distributed systems and scalability
- Experience with RESTful APIs and message queues (Kafka)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
