Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and architectural strategies.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and high standards of code quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including agile planning, sprint execution, and deployment.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and drive innovation within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be willing to relocate to Milwaukee, WI.
