Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance cloud-based applications using AWS and Java
- Lead technical reviews and code optimization initiatives
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and architecture workshops
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for continuous deployment
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement robust solutions
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database design (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder management
