Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems using Java/Python microservices
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS/Azure with CI/CD automation
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance for 1M+ daily transaction systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of designing high-throughput distributed systems
- Strong Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Experience with fintech or payment processing systems preferred
