Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services using Node.js and Python
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across the development team
- Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for improved performance
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience acceptable)
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python frameworks
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of delivering scalable microservices architectures
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and GraphQL implementations
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
