Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go, Python, and Java
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR)
- Optimize system performance and scalability for 10M+ user base
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Go, Python, Java, or Rust)
- Proven track record of shipping production services with 99.9%+ uptime
- Strong background in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with focus on scalability and security
- Experience leading cross-functional agile teams and mentoring developers
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and optimization projects
