Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software applications for federal government clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, security, and accessibility to meet stringent federal compliance standards (FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high code quality.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Conduct troubleshooting and debugging to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the government or consulting sector.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and RESTful API design.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
