Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and AWS services
- Mentor 3-5 junior developers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize microservices architecture for 99.9% uptime SLA
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of cloud-native applications
- Stay current with emerging DevOps and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and containerization
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Certifications in AWS or Azure (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack development projects
- El Paso residency or willingness to relocate (visa sponsorship available)
