As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions, working from our Colorado Springs hub or remotely. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure architectural standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one primary language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment.
- Eligibility to work in the US with valid work authorization.
