Responsibilities
- Design scalable microservices using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Implement security best practices across all cloud deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Drive architectural decisions using domain-driven design principles
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical communities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-native software development
- Expertise in at least one JVM language (Java/Scala/Kotlin)
- Proven track record with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
