Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance for high-traffic government applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain robust monitoring infrastructure
- Contribute to open-source projects that serve the public sector
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FedRAMP)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in React, Node.js, and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- Previous government contracting experience preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
