Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications using Python, AWS, and microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across 15+ countries in agile sprints
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance (99.9% uptime SLA)
- Lead architectural decisions for enterprise-level fintech integrations
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Django
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proven experience mentoring diverse, international development teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs and deployment at scale
