Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices architecture using Node.js and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and load testing
- Stay current with emerging technologies through quarterly innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Proven track record of building scalable RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience leading agile development teams of 5+ engineers
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and optimization
