Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct security audits and implement DevSecOps best practices
- Drive architectural decisions using Kubernetes, Terraform, and serverless technologies
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years in full-stack development with Java/Python and modern frameworks
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with 3+ production deployments
- Proven leadership in Agile/Scrum environments
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong background in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
- Published open-source contributions or technical publications preferred
- Ability to obtain DoD clearance if required
