Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native security applications using Go and Python
- Lead architecture reviews for new threat detection modules
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize real-time data processing pipelines handling 10M+ events/day
- Contribute to open-source security tools used by Fortune 500 companies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate threat intelligence into actionable features
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in microservices architecture and Kubernetes orchestration
- Strong understanding of network security protocols (TLS, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with security-focused coding standards (OWASP Top 10)
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
