Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specifications
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices
- Lead design sessions for complex technical solutions using modern frameworks
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with industry trends
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expert proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or Go)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade applications at scale
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
