Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS Lambda
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker containerization
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Ensure system security compliance with PCI-DSS and SOC 2 standards
- Monitor application health using Datadog and resolve production incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in RESTful API design and cloud-native architecture patterns
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Framework, and relational databases
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
