Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS/GCP and containerization technologies
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and DevOps automation initiatives
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance tuning and security vulnerability assessments
- Drive adoption of best practices including TDD, DRY, and SOLID principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of production experience with Go, Python, or Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Proven track record of leading complex system migrations and scaling projects
- Strong background in API design and distributed systems architecture
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders
