Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Architect secure RESTful APIs with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Optimize database performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blogs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Java development experience with Spring Boot framework
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of microservices patterns and event-driven design
- Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent practical experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system deployments
