Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and AWS Lambda
- Lead code reviews and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement security best practices for cloud-native applications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and Docker/Kubernetes
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
