Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker containerization
- Conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and load testing
- Monitor system health using Prometheus/Grafana and troubleshoot production issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with Spring framework
- Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and microservices patterns
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Proven experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
