Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS Lambda and Docker
- Lead development of real-time payment processing systems with 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct security audits and ensure PCI compliance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proven experience with fintech compliance standards (PCI DSS, SOX)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (pytest, JUnit) and TDD principles
