Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS Lambda
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Conduct API testing with Postman and JUnit for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement responsive React frontends
- Document architecture decisions using Confluence and Lucidchart
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise Java development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of delivering high-traffic RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and DevOps tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with financial data encryption and HIPAA compliance
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred
